Please note: We are non-epilogue compliant. Plagued is canon until the end of the Battle of Hogwarts

1. No Godmodding. Ever.

2. All RPs must be post to the RP community and all OOC posts to the OOC community. Please refrain from posting OOC comments within RPs unless necessary. If you have something to say to other players please use AIM/Email or the OOC community.

3. There is currently no limit or characters but activity is required.
• If we feel a character has become inactive you will receive a warning
• If inactivity continues or is repeated then the character will be removed and recast.
• We aren’t going to be journal Nazis. Update if you want to when you want to, as long as we can see you’re active around the comm.

4. Journals are to be written in first person and are to be used either for characters thoughts or to send messages to each other. They can also be ‘hexed’ private to or against other characters (example listed in ‘Posting Formats’ if you’re having difficulties)
• Please remember that if journals that have been made private against your character cannot be read by that character. They will not know what • Also, Out Of Character discussions should have no impact on the reactions of your characters. They do not know what you may know.

5. This is a game and we want it to remain as such, so:
• If something really offends you and you cannot talk it out with the person, bring it to the mods, don’t drag other players into it.
• What your character does will have in game consequences. Always remember that. As far as we are concerned these are all flexible, changing characters, so you have to expect unpredictable reactions.
• Saying this, let us be sensible and not swing wildly from one personality to another. Stick to canon as far as you feel you are able to, anything after that keep realistic.

6. We will not dictate to you what you can and cannot do with your character and their development, but if your character is given instructions (this will really only concern the disease/immunity and infection status) they must be carried out. That is what you’re signing up for after all. Furthermore, while we will not stop you doing things within reason, the plot of the game is the plot. If you wish to do anything that will have a significant impact on the main plot, please run it by the mods.

7. We would like the game to be plot driven rather than ship driven. If we feel you are only playing with one or two characters in a relationship you will be given a warning to participate more. If you have trouble integrating, please contact us and we’ll totally hook you up!

8. The game begins in 1998. You are required to party as such.

9. We are not putting age restrictions on players because you could just lie. But if you are under 18 you must be aware that RPs, posts and the comments in them may be of a mature or sexual nature. This is your warning. If you are sensitive, you may wish to leave.
• RPs must be rated appropriately. G, PG, 15, R, XXX
• If you can remember to tag your RP entries, that would be swell.

10. If a line/scene is making you uncomfortable because of it’s nature you are under no obligation to carry on. Talk to your playing partner about it, or to the mods. No one should be upset by RPs.
• This only applies to lines you yourself are playing. If you don’t like something someone else is writing then don’t read it. Players have the right to play out the lines they wish, providing they are not obviously insulting towards a lifestyle choice or culture. So please feel free to explore your kinky sides, bondage, torture, incest, all of these are things we’ll enjoy.

11. One line replies in RPs will be frowned upon. Use them once in a while if necessary, but consistent one liners will have you labelled as unimaginative. You should also be familiar with basic spelling and grammar.

12. Respect each other. If you don’t like another player or the way they play don’t play with them. Simple.

13. And, most importantly, this is a game. Play nice. Don’t take it too seriously. Enjoy yourselves!
